Sometimes this involves screening hundreds or more opportunities annually, and determining which companies offer differentiated technology. Our work spans the globe. To identify the right opportunities, we profile innovative companies in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the U.S.

Through comprehensive research, we identify potential deals, leverage our existing knowledge base and networks, and screen candidates against clients’ criteria. For firms that pass the initial screen, we conduct preliminary and confidential interviews with the leadership in prospective acquisitions. And we never disclose a client’s interest.

Our teams evaluate opportunities from the technology, business, and user perspectives, applying proprietary analytical tools. We ask hard technical questions that separate start-ups with differentiated and disruptive technology from those with only ideas and slick pitch decks. We bring to our clients the realities of the technology’s stage of development, business model, and commercial potential.

Most recently, for our Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods client, we evaluated more than 675 new opportunities across six categories. Our work led to one major acquisition, and participation in a start-up funding round.
